Hi, thanks for stopping by my portfolio. My full name is Maximilian Alejandro Rovo but everyone calls me by the more common variant, Max. I’m a writer, advertising creative and filmmaker based out of New York. I have 10+ years of copywriting experience with ad agencies, branded content studios and in-house teams. I have written everything from manifestos and Serena Williams automative content to luxury websites and videos on how I.T. software works. Every brief is an opportunity to make magic happen. Collaboration is key. Teamwork is everything. I’ve led teams of writers, managed social media calendars and have fine tuned many pitch decks. It’s all storytelling (all the time). I’m also obsessed with collecting magazines, vinyl and Criterion Blue-Rays. As a seasoned creative, I bring conceptual curiosity, leadership instincts, a sixth sense for brand voice and practical skills to any team. In addition to my work in advertising, I’ve also written and directed two short films. The latter of which, ETA, screened in London during the 2025 BFI Film Festival.
